Our Purpose
To provide specialist accommodation for youth experiencing homelessness in Wynnum, Manly and the Redlands area together with wrap-around services designed to enable youth to engage effectively with their education, family, work and community.
Our Vision
BABI is acknowledged for its excellence in providing transitional accommodation, support and integrated associated services for homeless young people in the area and their families. BABI’s support enables homeless young people to overcome the trauma of their situation and develop confidence, skills and resilience to achieve their full potential.

Our Strategic Goals include:
- To increase BABI’s capacity to provide transitional housing to youth by increasing housing stock and enabling BABI tenants to move on to longer term accommodation.
- To expand the capacity of BABI to provide the critical wrap around services of mental health support and family counselling to its client group and improve the knowledge and awareness in the Redlands community of BABI’s services.
- To increase BABI’s capacity to generate funds to ensure a strong and sustainable future
- To invest in strong mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, partners and our community.
